Here is the latest: There is a long thread in the NY Radio Message Board about hosts not being allowed to say goodbye,just abruptly being taken off the air.

I love this newspeak,"you weren't fired,the show was cancelled". If I didn't leave on my own,I was fired. If the show didn't stay on the air,that means they wanted someone to replace me,which means I was fired. No,I am not angry about being fired,I am simply amazed that this bull get circulated with no one laughing out loud.

I think that it stinks that you couldn't say goodbye.
How much of what went down had to do with Armstrong having to pay that $34,000 on the Child Left Behind settlement? This wasn't a penalty for what he did, it was payment for stuff he didn't deliver.

Sam was one of a few, who had the nerve to correct himself when he felt he was in error about what he said. When Sam Greenfield sopke, you van "take it to the bank"

My mornings will never be the same. I just don't understand why when people try to fix what "ain't broke".
And, they should allow the host to say goodbye. At least, when Karen Hunter switched hours, and you and Armstrong came, they at least allowed her to say goodbye. Even though they didn't let Steve Feuerstein say goodbye.
I really miss you and Armstrong. If you see or hear from him, give him regards from "Harriet from Bayside".
