Here's how I know that George Bush misses Andy Card: he's behind the news curve. Andy Card had the toughest job of all, making George Bush look like he knew what was happening. Andy would have never let Bush rap Nancy Pelosi about her visit to Syria four days after the story broke. He also would have told him that if he did knock her, he would look like an ass because three GOP Congressman not only visited Damascus at the same time, but had an audience with Assad as well. At a time when everyone wants us to negotiate with anyone who will listen, Bush is still a little cowboy on a quarter per ride dime store horse.
James Carville,asked to comment on the Republicans who impeached Clinton, replied that history will hunt them down. While history is at it, it should also bag Cheney, especially given his hunting record.

Re the Speaker's clumsy attempt at diplomacy (which isn't her job), she should stay at the House and legislate. She couldn't even deliver a simple message from Israel to the President/Dictator of Syria. as Mayor Bloomberg said, we should keep our differences internal and speak to the world with one voice.
